    I think Trurl the Constructor once built an Allegorical Device
    for some king of some planet in one of the lesser galaxies.

    Unfortunately they cranked too much juice into it and it
    emitted a beam directly at *our* galaxy and we've been burdened
    with art & poetry & bad sci-fi television ever since...
